dear you, you know who you are.
since the first day our guys spoke they clicked like the perfect blend of oil & vinegar. you are an amazing writer and it may only be a little over a month since we met and our guys have been together, you have brought out the best in my writing and abilities to play one of my favorite guys in the entire world. they're beautiful and i love every single scene we write whether they're goofing off on an airplane or speaking from the heart alone late at night. now that we're on our second line together, the way you write this new guy shows me how truly great a writer you are and with every conversation they have i love them more and more.

Even when you're sick, and made sure to let the mods know ahead of time, you not only find the time to post in the threads, but the one post you left on our thread proves just how much your kid is in tune with my kid with no dialog. Just a look, and he knows. And it's wonderful, and I love you for it. And I love that you love them like I do.

allyboo, youareamazing, and it's got nothing to do at all with RP. Well, very little, anyway, because they don't seem like an RP anymore. They seem like actual people who kind of elbow us to the side when they've got something to say to each other, even though it's been awhile they fall into it like it's been just yesterday. I love you and they love each other and it's just fucking amazing.

i woke up like 2 hours ago from one of my "naps" and since i had one of those moments where i wanted to look back on our two, i went and looked at the things they've been through. from their comment wars, their random posts, their scenes and chat logs, i went through a bit of everything. it's so crazy to see how long we've had these two, and how these two are the only characters we can really live at, but in the end, i wouldn't trade it for anything else in the rp world. i couldn't ask for a better sl partner either.
you are amazing, just so you know. i know i tell you this time after time, but you are. you are the reason why i love playing my character so much, and why i enjoy rp like i do now. i don't know how she did it, but she managed to capture him a few summers ago, and he hasn't left since. i love that about them. no matter what we put them through, or what we go through ooc, they/we manage to go through it all, and they're still standing. we're still standing.

It's one thing to say that you've secured a sl in rp and that it's going well. It's a totally different thing to really get that perfect pair that just amazes you at every turn. That was them for me... completely amazing and just unrelenting in their quest to love each other. They didn't know each other in real life, which was why they made up such the odd couple, and they were never just one of those flashy showy couples that really put forth the fact they were together. They were just together and that's all they needed to be. Just like Angel and Tom Collins. And I sit here, completely stunned and amazed about how Brittany is gone, but also how this line which we had put so much of our writing and lives to passes with her. It was a double whammy, majorly.
The first time Brittany every talked to Shane it was something that I wasn't sure of, honestly she was still fresh to the community and there were things that I was dealing with in real life that weren't so fantastic. Mostly college and adjusting. They helped me through those times. He was the reason that she wanted to be. Not matter what quirky, odd, crazy thing she'd do, he just tilt his head and laugh at her. And pick on her, but se adored it. She never thought for a second that she'd find anyone else like him. And neither did I.
When the world turned it's back on these two, they were just happy being who they were. Happy and together. Even the rough patches didn't happen. What did it take, like almost a year before they even had an arguement? They just were so insync most of the time that when it did happen I was balling my eyes out like a little baby for them.
It always amazed me how I never ever grew tired of them. They were the source of my amusement and the reason I wanted to log in every day. Thank you for that.

I also wanted to say something to my beautiful muse up there in heaven. I picked up Brittany three years ago after seeing Happy Feet because through her voice alone I could sense her energy, her spirit and her love for what she did. It wasn't long before I was sitting watching Uptown Girls and Just Married on repeat. I just fell in love with the girl. She was always so upbeat, and honestly just wanted to embody that. Thank you, Brittany for being a constant sense of inspiration and positivity in my life. Thank you for being a free spirited girl who I wanted to make seem that way. I know this seems weird, but thank you for being you so I could play someone who was just amazing in everything she did. Quirky and irrestible. You will be missed.

Well, it’s Holiday season and the 5th month anniversary of the game, so I really wanted to show you guys my appreciation. Since really, it’s because of the players that make a game so great. biography; I don't normally make these sorts of posts because I prefer to assume that the people I write with already know how much I appreciate their effort and talent. I certainly don't make these posts after having been a member of a community for just shy of a month. However, after writing this gentleman off and on over the last four years, and never quite finding a place where he'd stick, I think it's absolutely time to thank the people responsible for finally giving him a home. So, biography, you're more than amazing. For you kids, they ought to change the name of this place to You Are Fucking Stellar. I know it wouldn't fit, though. Too many letters, right? Well there are too many reasons for me to love the hell out of the entire lot of you. Not only have you been warm and welcoming to Keanu, you've fallen directly into the typical patterns of interaction and friendship that I would expect him to have with the people he has known for years on end (some decades, even) and even the people he doesn't know at all. As if it weren't enough for your collective characterizations to be as great as they are, the writing itself is downright phenomenal. There isn't a single one of you that I could possibly lodge so much as one complaint against when you're all invested in the people you're writing, so far as to be able to represent them as they ought to be both in entries and in scenes. Hell, I've never written so many scenes for one character with so many partners in such a short time before! All of you have made me comfortable, have challenged me, and continue to do so every day this guy's mucking around among your ranks. I'm having a blast and I think it's safe to say that all of you are too. Thank you for that, you're ace. I'd like to give a special nod to RDJ, Phoenix, Pace, Bomer and Fox. Y'all are the bee's knees. I'm not nodding to Quinto, though, he's a maroon.

This needed to be done despite how weird it may seem to others given the circumstances as of late. I'm going to try to go back to the beginning where I always longed for my character to find a best friend in a female, and how much I envied Milla Jovovich's and Brittany Murphy's relationship with their silly photos pressed up against each other at different events and having the time of their life. I wanted that for Milla badly and when she joined corbis back in 2006, your Brittany was there and they spoke and clicked immediately. Nothing was forced, everything came so natural, and before I knew it, their relationship flourished and it's rare for Milla to ever consider someone her best friend, yet she found that easily in Brittany. I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind yesterday was their MSN conversations. Back in the days where I was young and had nothing to do but waste my life away on Adult Swim while the three of us watched airings of Pee Wee's Playhouse and Shin-Chan. I don't think you realize how much it's going to hurt me to know that they will never be able to reminisce about that again and never did I ever think I had to find some sort of way to have my character cope through something so unexpected and tragic as this. Despite it all, you've done her justice. You invested so many years and time into writing her and she became such a fucking staple and no one could ever deny that. So here's to many hours of late night Scrabble, the honking, the 4 points for God. Here's to MSN, fatty penguin emoticons, matching Placebo tunes, and mad(e). Their ridiculous threads, their ridiculous disagreements, their combined love for platinum pants and rainbow shirts. I'm going to miss all of that, and you most of all. Thank you for the memories that I'll cherish for a very long time. You are fucking amazing.

I can't do this post without mentioning you. Though our time together was much shorter than I would have liked, I am also thankful for the relationship our characters shared together. I'm especially sorry that things had to end the way they did and I know how devastated you were because of it. I just want to let you know that I thought you were fantastic. Your Brittany was sweet and fun and she will be dearly missed as well.

Dear zavid,
There's no real reason to post this other than to make it public how much I love you and these two, because God knows I tell you that very thing on practically a daily basis. I've never had a storyline more enjoyable or creatively fulfilling or goddamn precious. They are perfect for each other, the end. Their creepy real life similarities - hippie parents, check; Disney career rearing and subsequent spectacular break from same, check; critically acclaimed role of mentally challenged kid in cheesy TV movie at a young age, check... should I continue? - plus all the ways that they are SO very different somehow converge into this absolutely seamless partnership, and it's been wonderful exploring it with you for this past year. Sometimes, I can actually predict what your guy is going to say in response, almost word for word, and that's so comforting in a very weird way. But other times you really surprise me and it makes for interaction that's alternately adorable or juicy, but always very, very real. I love that we have never shied away from from all the omgz drama~ they would have faced if RP were RL because it's amazing to get through it and have them both be better and stronger people on the other side. This is your first Zac and my first attempt at Shia, and I couldn't have chosen a better person to take that leap with than you, because you are amazing, despite all your protests, and you've made it so easy for me to just fall right into my guy and completely adore writing him. Even though you and I have written together several times before over the last few years, both romantic and platonic lines, this one is by far the master work, and I'm so, so grateful to have it and you. Even with my vampire schedule and your all-over-the-freaking-place schedule, lol. I don't even care that it's been a whole year and we've only gotten through a month of time. We've barely scratched the surface, and I can't wait to see what the next year brings. Happy anniversary, boo ♥

So I have been at rogerebert for about a year and a few months (though with zera for a little less) and honestly, this post is way overdue. Everyone in this game is simply amazing, but of course there are a few that I'd like to praise:
brianne Zera and Brianne are really sisters, and I love their interactions! They seriously crack me up so bad (Bri's typos, Zera's random giddy freakouts, etc) and Zera would really do anything for Bri. Bri will always be family to Zera, and she really values their friendship. I've always been a fan of friendship lines and it's been a long time since I've had such a good one. You are an amazing writer, and also an amazing friend, and I adore you oh so much <3. Z and Bri's interaction is one of man that have helped Zera to become one of my favorite characters, and I love Bri so hardcore. Of course, you already know most of this so...yeah. :]
thatcher OK, so Zera and Thatcher's interaction hasn't been very big, but you know I love you and all your characters. I love reading about Thatcher and the trouble he gets into (and doesn't get into, of course) and Zera adores him. I won't give away your other characters, but you know who I love, and you know that you are one of my favorites :) I've praised you a million times before, and I will just keep on doing it, because you deserve it so much.
mckenas Bret is Zera's thorn in her side, and her brother from another mother all at the same time. Her partner-in-crime, her go to guy for anything music related (he is after all one of the only DJs around that she's friends with, haha). Their "little sister/big brother" relationship cracks me up, and while they always tease the hell out of each other, you know the respect and love is there. Much love to you, my dear, I've been writing with you the longest out of anyone! (6 years? Whattttt.)
dohrety Ok, you had to know this was coming! From the first conversation between Alex and Zera, they pretty much clicked instantly, and I've loved every second! Their connection is so strong and so real, and everything they've gone through in just the short amount of time they have been together has not only helped Zera grow as a character, but affirmed my love for writing her as well. Not only is Alex a fantastic character with amazing depth you don't see much these days, but you are an amazing writer and a pleasure to have as a storyline partner. I adore them, and I really look forward to see what other adventures (read: trouble) they can get into! You are simply amazing :)
And there are other people that Zera interacts with that I'd like to mention quickly as well: lennix, necole, tslang, jensenbellamy, bitrawn, hrvey, arelys, hbrandston and so many others that I know I have left out. rogerebert, youareamazing!

there are very few things that get me more excited than new episodes of metalocalypse and venture bros. but you folks are the bees knees and ya'll were some great people. i've been in one hell of a huge chunk of games in my day, but nothing has ever quite been like tegesta. picking up bailey was a gamble for me. i hate twilight and i hated that bitches face, but i did it on a whim and she became one of my favorite characters i've ever written. at least in the top three, and that says something. enough with that shit, because i'm here to drop names like some of you claim bailey drops her panties.

galeharoldfan12; You are absolutely fabulous! For the last four years, I don't think I've ever had even one problem with you, OOC or IC. You've always been a wonderful and loyal friend and writing partner, not to mention, you write one of my all-time favorite lines. You kept my prized gem running back when I couldn't on two different occasions, which I'll be ever grateful for. You're a lot more awesome than you give yourself credit for. Thanks for never really getting on my bad side. It's GREATLY appreciated. Four years going strong!
pseudolife; Probably THEE most understanding and patient player I've ever come across. Not only do you write fantastically, but you challenge me with it. Not a lot of people can do that. You're also one of the few writers I know who actually comes up with original ideas, and that alone makes you fun to write with. You too are awesome.
burningstars; Granted, you've been pretty absent for the last month or so, but that doesn't change the fact that you're a good friend and an even better writer. You too are one of the few that comes up with exciting new ideas, and I look forward to you coming back once you finish up with schooling and such. Take all the time you need. You're one of the rare fellow writers I'm willing to wait for because I know you're most definitely worth it.
